​Cape Spice is a brand of high quality, handmade spices and sauces that inspire the cook in all of us with their wide range of flavours and subtle aromas. The name refers to the tradition of the spice trade in the Cape Town area.

In the logo, I worked with thicker lines and bold type to reference the fullness of flavour that spices add to food. I complemented the logo with a warm colour palette in shades of orange, brown and beige to stimulate the appetite and introduce our senses to the world of the spice trade.

The minimalist triangular pattern is inspired by traditional Cape Town area designs and is reminiscent of both the mountains typical of the area and the 'mountains' of spices served on bowls in local markets.
